The first Ronald McDonald family room in Greece, at the Paidon (children’s) “Agia Sophia” Hospital
We were very happy to participate in the great work of the Ronald McDonald House Charities Organization, which donated the family room of the same name to the “Agia Sophia” Paidon Hospital, proving once again its social sensitivity. It was an honor for us to be present at the inauguration of the Family Hall, which took place with the presence of distinguished guests in a discreetly modest event, consistent with the space and the purposes of all those who participated in the implementation of this important project.
We are honored to be among the supporters of this charitable effort, at the “Agia Sophia” children’s (Paidon) hospital, focusing on children and their families.
The creation of the Ronald McDonald Family Room at the “Agia Sophia” Children’s Hospital is the first action of the Ronald McDonald House Charities Hellas (RMHC Hellas), which recently started its operation in Greece as well.
It is a place of accommodation for the relatives of the children receiving treatment at the Hospital. The Family Room facilities feature overnight and respite areas where families can rest while remaining a few steps away from the wards where their children are being treated.
